Deep Lagoon Seafood and Oyster House

Came here for seafood and was not disappointed. The oysters were fantastic. We got 4 of each of the daily specials, Blue Point , Mama Mia, and Black Point. The mussels were very good as well. We had a nice table outside next to the water. Our server was awesome. She was very friendly and checked on us frequently.

I had to come back and add to my review - I previously left a 5 star rating and wanted to add my comments. Our family ate here not once but TWICE during our week trip to Marco Island. Not only are we seafood lovers, but the restaurant is beautifully positioned alongside the marina, with an upscale feel inside the restaurant and a comfortable family-friendly feel throughout the patio and outdoor seating. We had our 2 year old with and the wait staff was so accommodating to him - offering to bring out his meal first to keep him satisfied and someone even came around with a treasure chest filled with toys for him to pick one. This was the highlight of his night! He carried around that little toy for days! It's the little things that go a long way. Another thing we loved in addition to the incredible seafood dishes, were the delicious cocktails and mocktails! Everything we ate/drank we could tell was made in a scratch kitchen with FRESH ingredients! Thank you for not one but 2 memorable evenings!

If I could give our server, Marijana, a rating of more than 5 stars, I would. She was so pleasant, welcoming, attentive, accommodating, and friendly. She made our dining experience even more wonderful than it already was. There were 8 in our party for the evening before Easter Sunday. We initially reserved a table indoors, but the weather was so perfect, we all decided al fresco was the way to go. My 2 year old great-granddaughter was enamored with the surroundings, "I see the boats!", and of course, the fountain in the courtyard. My husband and I shared the Chicken Caprese Salad as an appetizer. It was a generous portion, and the chicken was flavorful, and tender, and just perfect for us to share. My son-in-law recommended hogfish, so I ordered the Hogfish Lagoon Style. It was so light, and melt-in-your-mouth, and mixed with all the other flavors, it was incredible, and the butter whipped mashed potatoes were a pleasant surprise. My husband had the Chicken Marsala which he completely enjoyed. Overall, it was a beautiful dinner and dining experience, and we would would highly recommend Deep Lagoon to anyone. Our only regret is we don't live closer. We're 3 hours away, but look forward to visiting again next year.

We came here for lunch on a Saturday. We were in town from Miami for a wedding that night. There were 4 of us. The location is great! The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. The menu is pretty big with lots of options! It’s not cheap and your bill can add up quickly! Parking was very easy, and free. We walked from the parking garage through the small mall full of cute shops and boutiques (be sure to take time to visit them). We were sat outside immediately. We ordered three key lime pie martinis and an aperole spritzer. The martinis were SO GOOD!!! I accidentally spilled mine halfway through and ordered a second one. For appetizers the waitress suggested the coconut shrimp (there are only 4 pieces) and the crab Rangoon, which is their most popular appetizer. Both were very good! For lunch I ordered the blackened mahi on a Cesar salad. The Cesar salad was ok. Definitely not the best Cesar dressing I’ve had. They could improve on that. The fish was great though! One of my friends ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. She really enjoyed it. Another friend ordered the yellowtail tuna with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. She also loved hers. The location is great. It’s quiet, beautiful, serene and calming. I love eating on the water. They have fans and umbrellas to keep you cool on hot days. It was a very enjoyable experience. I would love to return again and try some different menu items.

In my opinion this restaurant is best for parties of two or four. Love sitting outside best tables are for 2 or 4 diners. . Husband had the triple tail.. delicious. I had a Caesar salad perfect amount of dressing and the mussels as my main.....Sooooo good!! The broth maybe the best i have ever had.

What an awesome and amazing find, it was so good that we ate there twice on our recent vacation. We enjoyed everything from the food, service, atmosphere, and the killer views. On our second visit we had the pleasure of having Jazz as our waiter, top notch service made our dining experience so enjoyable. We will definitely be sure to make a return visit on our next vacation.

What a Beautiful Way to enjoy amazing food and service from the team Deep Lagoon! The bay and the sunset made our visit so special and memorable! The Mahi and Fried Green Beans were absolutely delicious!

Everything was excellent. Can't say anything bad about our dining experience. From the hostess who greeted us and set us up with the perfect outdoor table to our lovely server, William. The entire staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The location is excellent... right on the marina with shops. The restaurant, whether sitting inside or out, has a beautiful ambiance and appeal. The food menu was vast, and prices were affordable and not over the top. Happy Hour drinks and small bite menu is great, too. Something for everyone price wise and taste wise. Our entire party got something different to eat and drink, and each of us was extremely pleased. We will be back every trip to Marco going forward. Thank you for a lovely evening.
